    • Dominant uncertainty is the war's state on 2026-08-26, which I cannot verify: if a ceasefire/frozen lines hold, probability is near zero; if the campaign is active at anything like 2024–25 tempo, near-daily Shahed-type launches make at least one Kyiv-directed drone/missile on a given day plausibly ~50%, so I weight these regimes to land near ~0.30.
    • Signal over narrative: the resolution criteria is broad (one qualifying drone or missile suffices, interceptions still count as targeted), which materially raises single-day YES odds versus intuition about a 'major strike'; the 3-day window limits time for regime change but not for a pre-planned barrage.
    • Divergence from the 38% market is small and plausibly noise given only $6 of 24h volume (thin, possibly stale price); my slight downward tilt reflects some probability mass on de-escalation/ceasefire by 2026 that an active-war-anchored price may underweight.

What would change it: Verified evidence before Aug 26 of an enduring ceasefire or a multi-week complete halt in Russian long-range strikes toward Kyiv would cut this toward low single digits; conversely signs of a renewed massed missile/drone campaign would push it above 0.5.
