    • Outside view dominates: even in high-tension years (2019–2024), days on which Iran struck an Arab country's territory were a tiny fraction of all days, and a specific 4-day window with no confirmed imminent casus belli should price far below 10%.
    • Inside-view adjustment upward: post-2025 Israel–Iran war environment leaves elevated retaliation/proxy-attack risk and Iran has threatened Gulf states hosting US assets, which is genuine signal justifying a multiple of the raw base rate—but much of that risk historically expresses via proxies (deniable, possibly not 'targeting' under resolution criteria) rather than direct Iranian strikes.
    • Market at 8.5% sits roughly double my estimate; with only $259 in 24h volume, the divergence plausibly reflects thin, narrative-driven flow (generic Middle East fear premium) rather than informed positioning, so I weight my independent estimate over the price.
    • Time-decay matters: with just 4 days to close and no breaking-news signal of mobilization or ultimatum toward an Arab state, the probability mass for a qualifying event must be squeezed into a very short window, favoring NO.

What would change it: Credible reporting of imminent Iranian strike plans against a specific Arab state (e.g., evacuation of diplomatic staff, Gulf airspace closures, or a formal Iranian threat with a deadline) would sharply raise my estimate.
